Clinical study

The haemophilia centre at the Kent and Canterbury Hospital has received £250,000 to lead research into the genetic blood disorder. Staff will do a random clinical study to establish the links between exercise, weak muscles and joint damage caused by bleeding in children with the condition. The work is being funded by the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR).
