JJ hopes you’ll take the plunge

Sweet labrador cross JJ is after a new home this week.

The bouncy four-year-old, who has a love of water, enjoys playing with his toys and is a quick learner.

He can find it difficult to socialise around other dogs as he is a bit worried by them, but he does enjoy a good play with the right dogs.

JJ is looking for an active

TODAY (Thursday) 16 miles – starting at 9.30am from the corner of Richboroug­h Road/ash Road, Sandwich, lunch stop at Plucks Gutter: White Cliffs Ramblers. SUNDAY Five miles – starting at 10am from Bekesbourn­e railway station: Dover & Thanet Rights of Way Society. Six miles – starting at 10am from near the Rose & Crown, Stelling Minnis, lunch stop: White Cliffs Ramblers. 10.5 miles (figure of eight) – starting at 10am from the Royal home and would prefer to live with adults only.

He has some basics and would like to continue his training, but is house trained as he has previously lived in a home.

He can potentiall­y live with the right dog and be left a few hours once he is settled in well.

The centre’s training and behaviour team will help settle JJ into his new home and with Oak car park, Broad Oak: White Cliffs Ramblers. 12 miles – starting at 10am from Bridge recreation ground, lunch stop at Fordwich: East Kent Rambling Club. 19 miles – starting at 9am from Appledore village hall, lunch stop at Lydd: Long Distance Walkers managing him on a lead when meeting other dogs.

The opening times are noon to 4pm every day except Wednesdays, and the centre is now open late on Thursdays until 7.30pm.
