Attack on police

A 29-year-old man has been jailed for four months after assaulting three police officers.

David O’connell, of Lodge Hill Lane, Rochester, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour and assaulting the officers in Rosemary Lane, Canterbury, on April 29.

He was sentenced to 120 days in prison and must also pay £150 compensation.
