Odds-on Brazier slips up
Maybe the bookies knew something? The odds on Sir Julian Brazier appeared to signify nothing less than a Conservative win in this safest of seats on the eve of the poll. To win just one pound you would have had to have wagered £80. But the odds had actually come down from 1/200 while Rosie Duffield’s odds of winning had reduced to 16/1, still a nice return but narrower than before as some people backed what previously seemed to be a long shot.
