Appeal helps pay tribute to loved ones

-

The Pilgrims Hospice has launched its annual summer Sunflower Memories Appeal.

In return for a donation, supporters can dedicate a beautiful sunflower plaque to be planted in the hospice’s gardens to remember someone special to them.

Last year the appeal raised almost £28,000 for hospice care.

Specialist nurse Mary Honey said: “We know how important it is that people have the opportunity to honour the memory of loved ones. Sunflower Memories is a chance to share those treasured and beautiful memories.”

To take part and make a dedication go to www.pilgrimshospices.org/sunflower or call 01227 782062.

Supporters are also being invited to a Sunflower Day tea party in the beautiful labyrinth gardens at Canterbury Hospice at 2pm on Saturday, July 29.
