See puppet show then meet the cast
Enjoy an enchanting afternoon of family fun with puppet show Pat-a-cake Baby at the Gulbenkian this month.
The production, created by Long Nose Puppets, brings cake-making, puppetry and rhymes to the theatre with music and songs by Tom Gray. It is based on the book written by Joyce Dunbar and illustrated by Polly Dunbar, which was the winner of the Mal Peet Children’s Award at the East Anglian Book Awards.
After the performance there will be a 15-minute “meet the puppets” session, allowing children to meet the puppets they have seen in the show.
Long Nose Puppets are a Brighton based puppetry company, who have produced puppet shows for children since forming in 2006.
The show will be at the Gulbenkian on Saturday, June 24 at 2pm. Tickets cost £8 or £6.50 per person for groups of four or more.
Baby-on-lap tickets cost £1 and the production is suitable for ages two and above.
