De f e n d i n g c h amp i o n s Canterbury Ladies won their opening game of this year’s Dover League against St Margaret’s Bay. Canterbury 56 St Margaret’s Bay 28 (Home) Liz Long, Carole Nelson, Sue Close won 31-16; Away Madeline Mcconomy, Sue Mates, Christie Barr won 25-12.

In the East Kent Mixed Triples League, Canterbury only gained 2.5 points against Herne Bay after a 12-shot loss.
