Change of plans

Detailed plans unveiled ahead of a public consultation last year have since been revised.

The number of screens at the multiplex cinema has been reduced from as many as 10 down to five or six.

A proposal for a bowling alley has been scrapped completely and the number of homes almost trebled from 70 to 189.

Student accommodation has dropped slightly from 500 units to 484 and car parking has risen from 390 spaces to 422.
