Race duo’s weekend of frustration

Ross Twyman and Tom Ward both suffered blanks in the latest round of the Dickies British Supersport series at Silverstone over the weekend.

Twyman’s hopes in race one ended with a crash on the opening lap while Ward was forced to pull into the pits after 15 laps due to brake issues.

Ward lasted nine laps before having to withdraw in race two and Twyman was on the final circuit when he crashed out.

The series continues at Oulton Park, Cheshire, this weekend.
