Your chance to learn why more and more families opt for St Lawrence

-

September always brings an air of excitement and anticipation with the start of the new school year.

It also marks the start of the open-day season and the opportunity for you to explore different options for your child’s future education.

Whether you’ve had St Lawrence College in mind since the day your child was born, or you have never considered independent education before, why not go along to one of its upcoming open days to find out why more and more local families are choosing to send their child there?

For nursery and reception up to Year 6, you can book a place at the junior school open day on Friday, October 6, for either the morning or afternoon session – 9.30am to noon or 1.30pm to 3pm.

As well as having a full tour of the school, you will also get to meet the head teacher, Ellen Rowe, staff and pupils.

Refreshments will be available, and children and other family members are very welcome to accompany you on your visit.

If you are considering Year 7 and above, book a place at the senior school open day on Saturday October 7.

Sign in from 10.30am for an extensive tour of the school.

The principal, Antony Spencer, will give a speech before a buffet lunch is served for visitors until 2pm.

There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions of staff and pupils.

The open days will give you a good feel for the school.

Families may then wish to arrange a time for a more personal visit, a meeting with the head teacher and registrar to discuss their individual child’s needs, and another look at any areas of particular interest, before a decision is made.

Contact the school now to book an open day place – you will be assured of a warm welcome.

Telephone St Lawrence on 01843 808080 or visit the college’s website at www.slcuk. com.
