Licence fraud

Almost 60 young people in Canterbury were caught watching television or BBC iplayer without a licence in the past year, say officials.

They were among almost 840 offenders aged 18 to 25 across Kent found evading the fee.

TV Licensing is now especially urging students to ensure they know the rules about watching television on any devices or face a fine of up to £1,000.
