Music, art and living cells

Composer and pianist Mikhail Rudy had a strong friendship with artist Marc Chagall, and offers a moving tribute to his work through arts and music. Having created a colourful animated film of Chagall’s work, he accompanies it with music from Gluck, Mozart, Wagner, Debussy and Ravel in a sensational and electric performance (October 29).

If that doesn’t send shivers down your spine, you can experience music on a cellular level with Cellular Dynamics (October 20), a unique visual and musical exploration of fundamental processes within living cells.

Pianists Dan Harding and Matthew King perform the music of Philip Glass, Gavin Bryars and others to provide a meditative atmosphere in which to experience rarely-seen elements of the laboratory research environment.
