Ritchie Martin scored five goals and David Reed four as Monument PFC A ran out 19-0 winners over nine-man FC United in Division 2 of the Herne Bay and Whitstable Sunday League. Michael Lovell and Keith Foad both hit hat-tricks, with Nick Burns (2), Billy Redford and Rob French the other scorers. Nathan Moat’s double earned City Lions a 2-1 win over Whitstable Old Boys while Heron Athletic surrendere­d top spot after losing 3-2 to Tankerton FC. Jack Allen scored two for the new leaders with Ty Holder also on target. Herne Bay Athletic edged Faversham United by the same margin and Bay United pipped Littlebour­ne Reserves 4-3. Josh Baker, Nathan Perry, Alex Cooper netted for Bourne with goals from Ted Allen (2), Jay Beazley and Matt Harris seeing United home. Rising Sun maintained their 100% start in the Premier Division recording a 4-1 win over Wingham to make it five wins from five. Sam Hallett (2), James Turner and Kenny Sanders scored for the champions. Tankerton Royals lost for the first time, going down 3-1 to Chilham for whom Leon Baker, Jordan Page and Ben Walsh were on target. Waterfront edged Crusaders 2-1 to claim their first points and Littlebour­ne also broke their duck with a 4-0 win over Monument PFC. Robbie Loomer scored twice, with Matt Martin and Louis Brister completing their tally. Goals from Brad Weston and Callum Wellings led Jadon Blues to a 2-1 victory over Chartham. Chislet won the big game in Division 1, displacing The Elephant at the top after handing the Faversham side their first defeat. Callum Kennelly (2) and Jacob Hedges were the Chislet scorers in a 3-1 success. Hampton eased past Monument PFC Reserves 5-0 to join the top two on 12 points, while Darren Eke’s hat-trick was decisive as Woodmans Hall beat Blean Sunday 3-2 to pick up their first win. Northgate Rangers did likewise after pipping Oare 2-1 and St Stephen’s and A1 Tyres drew 2-2. Jonny Pilcher scored both for St Stephen’s with Ashley Tuite and Liam Wellings replying for Tyres.
