Sniffed out

A police dog helped find a suspected burglar hiding in a garden.

Officers were called to St Stephen’s Road after reports of a break-in at 5am on Wednesday last week.

A 17-year-old boy was arrested and later charged with burglary.

He was released on bail until November 20, when he will appear at Canterbury youth court.
