BRITISH SUPERSPORT: ROSS ENDS SEASON IN TOP SIX

Wingham’s Ross Twyman produced two consistent rides in the final round of the Dickies British Supersport series at Brands Hatch. Twyman finished ninth and then seventh to secure sixth place overall and said it had been a productive campaign. He added: “I really wanted to challenge at the sharp end with the lead bunch on the final race weekend of the year, but we were slightly hampered with a few little set-up issues at Brands. “In saying that, it doesn’t take away from a very enjoyable season with EHA Racing, who are a great bunch of people to work with and I’m proud that I was able to secure sixth place overall in the championship standings for both myself and the whole team. “Thanks to all my personal sponsors and those who make it happen on the ground at EHA Racing.”

Littlebourne’s Tom Ward crashed out in the first race but finished 10th in race two, finishing 12th in the overall standings.
