Ashley Kohler and David Reed both grabbed hat-tricks as Monument recorded an 8-0 win over Waterfront in the Herne Bay and Whitstable Sunday League. Steve Murray and Tom Winder were the other marksmen as Monument moved up to third in the Premier Division. Champions and runaway leaders Rising Sun power on, making it seven wins out of seven with a 6-1 victory at Chartham – who started the day second. Wayne Fittall and James Turner each scored two, with Mark Mccann and Sam Staunton completing the tally. Izaak Sargeant’s double led Crusaders to their first win of the campaign, 3-0 at Wingham. Scott Crane was the other scorer. Goals from Aaron Rook and Lewis Walsh helped Chilham to a 2-1 win over Littlebour­ne (Edward Johnson) while Tankerton Royals edged Jadon Blues 3-2 to go second. Joe Walker (2) and Nick Burns scored for Royals, with Steven Crouch and Marc Latham replying. Hampton remain a point clear at the top of Division 1 after a 2-0 victory at Faversham Strike Force, but breathing down their neck are Chislet who eased to a 5-0 win at Oare. Nathan French, Jacob Hedges, Callum Kennelly, Jack Winder and Ben Waite were their scorers. A1 Tyres were the day’s biggest scorers, handing Woodmans an 8-2 defeat to move up to third. Liam Wellings, Toby Winson and Steve Hall all grabbed doubles with Ashley Tuite and Matt Bubb also on target. Darren Eke and Jess Kirby replied for Woodmans. Matt Smith’s double earned Monument Reserves a 2-1 win over The Elephant (Matt Hennessey). A James Marsh strike proved decisive as Monument A pipped Littlebour­ne Reserves 1-0 to go top in Division 2. They head the table on goal difference from Bay United who beat Hern Athletic 3-1 thanks to goals from Matt Harris, Jay Beazley and Jo Hancock. Ty Holder’s double saw Tankerton to a 2-1 win over City Lions (Nathan Moat) while Canterbury Toon stay bottom, losing 3-0 to Whitstable OB.
