Marshes talk

A public meeting for anyone interested in finding out more about Hambrook Marshes takes place at the Ashford Road Community Association hall in Thanington at 7.30pm on Monday.

Hambrook Marshes is a 50-acre wetland beside the Great Stour Way cycle route and footpath beyond the Westgate Parks.

The charity Love Hambrook Marshes bought the site in 2014 when it was threatened with closure to the public. There will be an illustrated talk about the marshes’ wildlife and an opportunity to meet the trustees and find out more.
