Gin your thing? Take a sip of fes­ti­val

A two-day fes­ti­val show­cas­ing more than 120 gins will be staged in the city in April.

The event, to be staged at West­gate Hall on April 6-7, will be run by the Gin So­ci­ety. It is the first time it has staged its fes­ti­val in Kent.

There will be a tast­ing sta­tion where vis­i­tors can try new flavours, and a pros­ecco cock­tail bar where you can choose from a range of pros­ecco cock­tails fea­tur­ing fruit flavoured gins.

Vis­i­tors will also be treated to live mu­sic.

The event be­gins at 6pm on the Fri­day with ses­sions at both noon and 6pm on the Satur­day.

Early bird tick­ets are on sale now priced £8.50. Tick­ets in­clude en­trance, a gin glass and gin book­let to guide you around the fes­ti­val.
