Herne Bay walking football team won all three of their matches in the fourth round of the TRA National League South on Sunday. David Gilham opened the scoring in their first match against Leyton Orient. Neil Davey and Neil Brown each scored to give Bay a 3-0 lead at half-time. Gilham got his second as Bay went on to win 4-1. Next up they had a hardfought 2-1 win against Bexley Boys, who had won their last nine matches. Bay took the lead through Gilham before being pegged back. Gilham then added his second to grab the victory. In their final match Bay put six goals past Laindon Athletic to make it an impressive set of results on the day. Davey scored four, while Gilham and Brown got one each as they ran out 6-1 winners. After four rounds of fixtures Bay have played 12, won nine, drawn two and lost one.
