Bus discount

Bus passengers will now be able to enjoy ‘eveningrider’ tickets costing £3 after 6pm every day. Operator Stagecoach is offering the discount fare, allowing unlimited travel on all its buses in the south east, via its smartphone app. The eveningrider is valid through to the last bus home or 4am the next day. Stagecoach commercial director Matthew Arnold said: “We hope more people will choose to get about on the bus and travel for much the same price as a takeaway coffee.”
