Art project

A group of Canterbury artists has been handed £47,000 to create a number of installations with the help of 2,000 children. About 2,000 children from eight East Kent schools will work with Animate Arts to make pieces out of cardboard and paper. This is part of the group’s countywide campaign called The Big Build, which aims to encourage creative learning. Animate Arts has been awarded the funding for the project by Arts Council England.
