Tina Marsh with her prize-winning print Wild visitor helps Tina clinch prize

-

Tina Marsh is surrounded by animals at the Lord Whisky Animal Sanctuary in Stelling Minnis, which she runs with her mum.

But it was a wild visitor who caught the focus of her attention for our readers’ picture of the month contest.

She regularly feeds birds but one particular robin has become increasingly friendly in recent weeks which allowed her to take an impressive close-up.

Tina, 49, who lives at Park House at the sanctuary, said: “I enjoy taking photographs and one day he was so close that I thought I just have to take a picture and I am very pleased with the result. I would like to upgrade my camera so I’m delighted that I’m now in with a chance.”

Every month throughout 2018 we have been choosing our favourite reader’s picture, who received a canvas print of their photograph courtesy of sponsors Canterbury Camera Centre.

The overall winner, chosen this month, will receive a top Panasonic Lumix travel compact camera worth £400.
