More than 300 people have registered for the Kent Business Summit 2019 at the University of Kent tomorrow (Friday) when the impact of Brexit is expected to be a hot topic. They will hear from several high-profile speakers including the Minister for Small Business and MP for Rochester and Strood, Kelly Tolhurst, who will provide an update on the latest developments around arrangements to leave the EU. Also speaking will be the technical manager with Transport for the Southeast, Mark Valleley, university vicechancellor and president Professor Karen Cox, chief executive of Visit Kent, Deirdre Wells and Gavin Clear, who is chief executive of Locate in Kent. The all-day event opens at 7.30am for breakfast and registration, with the first talk at 8.30am.
