More than 300 people have registered for the Kent Business Summit 2019 at the University of Kent tomorrow (Friday) when the impact of Brexit is expected to be a hot topic. They will hear from several high-profile speakers including the Minister for Small Business and MP for Rochester and Strood, Kelly Tolhurst, who will provide an update on the latest developmen­ts around arrangemen­ts to leave the EU. Also speaking will be the technical manager with Transport for the Southeast, Mark Valleley, university vicechance­llor and president Professor Karen Cox, chief executive of Visit Kent, Deirdre Wells and Gavin Clear, who is chief executive of Locate in Kent. The all-day event opens at 7.30am for breakfast and registrati­on, with the first talk at 8.30am.
