Kent head coach Matt Walker presented the awards at Reculver Cricket Club’s prizegiving evening.

The achievements of all sections of this growing club were celebrated from the juniors to senior club members.

The under-11s won the Thanet Indoor League 2019 with impressive performances from the whole team.

The batting award was picked up by Hazik Anwer, the bowling award went to Jais Jojo with Noel Abraham collecting manager’s player.

This exciting under 11 side also won the Canterbury District Division 2 Championship. Anwer had a brilliant season winning both the batting and bowling award.

The under-13 side were competing for the first time and were made up by many of the double winning under-11 side. A mid-table league finish along with a semi-final appearance in the cup rounded off a good first season. Anwer picked up yet another award as batsman of the year despite playing above his age group, with the bowling award shared between Jojo and Anwer again. Manager’s player went to Dylan Rutherford.

■ The Jim Watson Cup for exceptional contribution to the club was awarded to Uzma Anwer.
