Road closure fears relaxed

Red-faced county highway officials have corrected a notice which sparked widespread traffic concerns. Kent County Council had published plans to close Sturry level crossing throughout Monday - the day schools return from the half term break.

But after publishing news of the day-long closure, officials issued an amended notice detailing the correct times - 11.45pm to 5am on Monday night.
