Abuser jailed

A paedophile from Canterbury who sexually assaulted a girl and stored indecent images on his computer has been jailed. Child abuser Rowan Baker, 23, was found guilty of attacking and causing or inciting sexual activity with a young girl.

The Chilham resident’s vile actions were realised when the victim told her mother, who in turn, then alerted police. Officers raided his house in Maidstone Road and seized his computer, on which they discovered 121 indecent images of children. Baker was sentenced to six years and six months behind bars.
