Songs at five cathedrals in one day

Two choirs from Simon Langton Girls’ Grammar School joined forces to to perform at five different cathedrals in one day to raise money for a local music scholarship fund.

The senior and KS3 chamber choirs toured the south of England by coach last week to sing in Canterbury, Guildford, Westminister, Southwark and Rochester.

Already almost £2,500 has been pledged on the group’s Just Giving page, which will be split between the school’s music department and a scholarship fund set up by Canterbury Vocals to support young female musicians.
