Second-placed Elephant won 6-3 at home to Castle B in the penultimat­e round of Faversham Darts League games.

Keith Ralph scored a maximum and the man of the match accolade was shared by Craig Preston and Wayne Thomas. League leaders Market A triumphed 8-1 at home to Brents B, which leaves the Elephant needing six points from their last match to take the league title. Ian Frost hit a 180 and Darren Butcher checked on 102.

Men of the match were Dougie Wallis and Dave Forder.

Wine Vaults won 6-3 at home to Tuns A, with Chris Bedo and Benn Swinfield taking man of the match honours. Brents A lost a tight home game with the Rugby Club 5-4. With the score level at 4-4, Jason Mills won the decider for the Rugby Club.

Ritchie Boswell and Max Hopkins were men of the match.

The Bull derby went the way of the B team, 5-4. Ben Felts scored a 180 and was man of the match along with Mick Harding, who checked on 100. Graham Amer checked a superb 167.

Castle A won 7-2 at home to the Railway. Lee Grigsby scored a maximum as did Steve Wright, who checked on 112. Bob Mason and Anthony Halls took the man of the match honours.
