Scott Williams. Ware and Mark Lambton dovetailed perfectly for a 5&4 win, Marcus Rabenda and Wal Kalinowski won 4&3 and after Geoff Stockwell and Chris Sherwood lost one down, 19-year-old Jon Warman and Keith Nicholls won the final match 5&3.
