Canterbury runner George Seery was among the medals at the Home Countries International. Following his win at the English Schools Championships, 18-year-old Seery was selected for the England under-20s team to compete in the 400m hurdles for the event held at the Manchester Arena.
The competition featured athletes representing teams from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, and a Great Britain under-18s team.
Seery claimed the gold medal in a time of 53.81sec before competing in the 4x400m relay, where he won silver to conclude his 2021 season in style.
