Injuries cost Canterbury Bombers dearly during their opening Division 2 match against Bay United. Canterbury lost three players, leaving them down to eight, and a rampant Bay took advantage to win 18-0. Jonnie Shoemaker led the rout with five goals, while there were hat-tricks for Mat Beasley and Peter Sharpe. Brian Cegeldi (2), Tyler Martin, Buddy Rowden, Jake George, Joe Hancock and Tom Pithers also netted. Canterbury Red Star won 6-2 against Faversham Strike Force Reserves, Ali Bevan (2), Keegan Wickham, Peter Sharpless, Charley Hillier and Alex Taylor on target. Blean Sunday, meanwhile, shared the spoils with Northgate Rangers after a 3-3 draw. In the Premier Division, Rising Sun were too hot for Faversham Strike Force to handle.

Stuart King struck a hattrick, with Scott Crane, Joe Kennett and Rob Lawrence joining him on the scoresheet for a 6-2 success. Robbie Loomer and Jack Leggatt strikes were not enough for Littlebourne. They were outscored by The Heron for a 3-2 defeat. Faversham Herons got the better of The Druids 3-1 in Division 1. Ashley Hyrycz, Joe Spratt and Connor Palmer were all on target, with Tom Newing replying for Druids.

Karl Brickland (2), Jack Thompson and Lewis Heard struck in Tankerton Royals’ 4-1 victory over City Lions, while Frames thrashed Oyster Boys with KB Ilesanmi, Zak Thoms (3), Paul Jarman and Gene Vizzard securing a 6-1 win. There were plenty of goals, too, for Chilham. Ben Walsh (2), Sam Creed (2), Leon Baker and a Mike Holness penalty did the damage for a 6-2 win over Canterbury Toon.
