Surprise, surprise: Guns N’ Roses make a ton of cash on their incredible Not In This Lifetime... tour
HERE’S AXL Rose, looking full of life as Guns N’ Roses chalk up three nights at New York’s massive Madison Square Garden last week, as part of the ongoing Not In This Lifetime Tour. Presumably he’s also just got a text from his accountant with the news that the band’s European shows this summer grossed a whopping $112 million (£85.1 million) in ticket sales. The two dates in London alone trousered $17.2 million of that total. And that’s
on top of the $230 million (£174.8 million) the world trek had already done by April this year.
Obviously that’s the gross of ticket sales, and there are loads of costs involved, but it still leaves a hell of a lot of cheddar in GN’R’S pockets. So, yeah, don’t expect to see Axl using a Groupon any time soon…
