PUPPY embrace “immature excitement” in their new video for WORLD STANDS STILL…

Few things are as enjoyable in life as weird alt.rock-meetsmetal, and indulging your inner nerd. London trio Puppy clearly know this all too well, having delivered both in their brilliant new video for World Stands Still.

“Many of our biggest influences as a band are movies, computer games and music that we loved as kids,” explains drummer Billy Howard, who also directed and edited the clip. “We never really got over that kind of immature excitement for the stuff we found cool. Equally, though, there’s kind of a loneliness and weirdness to being that age – which is actually probably part of the reason you throw yourself so completely into all the stuff you find cool in the first place.”

And the best way to portray all of the above? With a cool-as-hell Goblin Girl character roaming the streets, shredding on guitar and just generally being an all-round badass. “We think that the Goblin Girl embodies this juvenile side to our band pretty neatly,” Billy adds. “We hope you enjoy watching her adventures as much as we enjoyed filming them.” K! PUPPY ’S NEW ALBUM THE GOAT IS DUE OUT ON JANUARY 25,2019 VIA SPINEFARM RECORDS. THE BAND ARE ON TOUR WITH KING 810 RIGHT NOW
