Hello Julie! Who taught you to knit and when? My grandmother when I was about seven. Like so many kids, I lost interest but picked it back up again in my twenties. I was inspired by the beautiful knitting I saw Turkey and I started learning again.
Describe a typical day in your life... Every day starts at 7am, when my three-year-old daughter gets up! Then my husband and I rush around to make sure we leave in enough time for daycare and work. After work, I pick up my daughter and we head to the park or home. After dinner, story time and bedtime I usually do the bulk of my knitting and blogging.
project? Cowl. It’s my go-to accessory in the and fall. The lace is like a necklace.
spring Why did you decide to start a blog? I started a knitting blog with a friend of mine but after a couple of years, she was blogging and knitting less, and I was blogging and knitting more, so we parted ways and I renamed the blog Knitted Bliss. I’ve met so many wonderful knitters and crafters through blogging, and I always love meeting other knitters. It’s those relationships and that sense of community that keeps me blogging.
