From a boyband to a girl group
An exhibition about the Spice Girls runs at Manchester Central in Windmill Street until September 5. Spiceupmanchester showcases thousands of items of memorabilia, alongside hundreds of the group’s stage costumes as part of a celebration of the biggest girlgroup of all time. In addition to merchandise from around the globe – ranging from the rare and unseen to the peculiar and unusual – the exhibition reveals how the Spice Girls went from band to brand.
