The occasion was hosted by Alison Bray and Kath Mckenzie who both worked for Greater Manchester Police, when Kath Mckenzie was sadly diagnosed with breast cancer. After receiving excellent treatment at Wythenshawe Hospital’s world renowned Nightingale Centre, Kath wanted to help the cause.

The evening started with a lively drinks reception where jazz singer Rachel Abbott entertained guests. After a delicious three course meal, guests took part in an auction hosted by actor Liam Fox where local business kindly donated prizes. The ball raised an incredible £20,000.
