Rossendale Hospice’s 19th an­nual ball, or­gan­ised by the spe­cial events team, cel­e­brated in style to mark the 30 year mile­stone of pro­vid­ing hospice care. It raised an im­pres­sive £27,000.

Al­most 200 guests were greeted at the Hil­ton Ho­tel, Manch­ester, with a toast given by Alan Kee­gan, the voice of Old Traf­ford, who asked the guests to toast the an­niver­sary. Through­out the night guests were en­ter­tained by ma­gi­cian Tris­tan Mal­geri, dancers from Dance Like No one’s Watch­ing and The Val­ley Hoop­ers who gave a mes­meris­ing show. The ic­ing on the cake was an auc­tion prize of a fan­tas­tic black and gold leop­ard by Molly’s Cre­ative Cakes which raised a show-stop­ping

£1,000 and was filmed by Chan­nel 4 se­ries, The Ex­treme Cake Mak­ers.
