For a 15th year ithe fes­ti­val will show­case lo­cal and regional beers from along the Pen­nine Way. A free, fun and vi­brant day out for all ages. Stall hold­ers will be bring­ing a va­ri­ety of high qual­ity hand­made goods and craft­ing ma­te­ri­als along with Fair Trade items. This Fe­bru­ary half term take part in this fam­ily fes­ti­val; watch, see and learn in this jam packed week-long cel­e­bra­tion for fam­i­lies of all ages. Bring out your inner child with clas­sic car­ni­val games such as hook-a-duck, play your cards right and ring toss, all un­der a huge Big Top style mar­quee. There will also be cock­tails and street food avail­able. Dis­cover works by two con­tem­po­rary artists; As­lan Gaisumov’s film Ke­icheyuhea which re­flects the tur­bu­lent his­to­ries of the Chechen peo­ple and Fight, a se­ries of silkscreen posters by Jan­ice Ker­bel where the ac­tions of a chore­ographed un­armed fight on hu­man-sized sheets of paper is rep­re­sented.
