Button it

Lancashire Life - - FEEDBACK -

I sympathise with the editor’s plight outlined in his February column. Ever-changing attitudes make it difficult to open one’s mouth without putting at least one foot in it. His wife should follow my example. I always tell my husband: ‘If it doubt, keep your mouth shut.’ I also tell him if he’s not in any doubt, then ‘definitely keep it shut.’ It works for us.
