A NEW START
A derelict industrial site near Bury has been transformed into a beautiful wildlife rich garden
It took some vision to see the potential for converting the untidy site of a Victorian bleach works into a beautiful garden. Fortunately, Keith Talbot had that vision. In 2003, he bought the 12 acre site
at Bury which included two reservoirs, some World War Two air raid shelters and a jungle of overgrowth, with planning permission for an estate of 15 homes to be built on a neighbouring plot.
