At the cross­roads

Rib­ble Val­ley Cross­roads Care held an evening re­cep­tion in the grounds of Down­ham Hall to say ‘thank you’ to the char­ity’s sup­port­ers and ded­i­cated staff. The event was at the in­vi­ta­tion of Cross­roads’ pres­i­dent, Lady Clitheroe and her son Ralph Assheton, the cur­rent High Sher­iff of Lan­cashire.

The work of the char­ity – help­ing care and sup­port car­ers in the area and the lo­cal respite sup­port avail­able for peo­ple liv­ing with de­men­tia – was out­lined by chair­man, Tom Mclean and there was en­ter­tain­ment for the 150 guests from bar­ber shop group ‘Wrong Direction’.
