back and indulge our lazy, gluttonous sides for a little while. The garden needs less attention, and the dark nights are the perfect excuse to stay indoors with a good book. The season of comfort eating is upon us, and it’s suddenly acceptable to gobble up pastry, butter and bacon with glee. This month’s recipes embrace all that is indulgent, creamy and buttery, a starter for the festive feasts of December. I always think of November as the Friday of the year, and these are certainly what I would consider to be Friday night recipes.
