Anew clinic, Birch Health & Wellness, scheduled to open in the New Year, is dedicated to helping chronic illness sufferers find and address the root cause of their health problems, rather than simply treating the symptoms.

Located in Preston, Lancashire, we operate using a functional medicine philosophy, state-of-the-art testing, personalised treatments, health coaching and nutritionist services. We also offer video appointments for those too ill to travel.

Some studies suggest that more than fifteen million of the UK’S population suffers from one or more chronic illnesses. Chronic conditions like

IBS, and autoimmune diseases like coeliac disease, can interfere with the ability to take part in previously enjoyed activities, such as exercising or enjoying mealtimes with friends and family. Chronic illness can also result in low mood, stress and anxiety. For some, conventional approaches to chronic illness management fail to give them the relief they need.

Birch Health & Wellness offer a fresh approach to the management of chronic digestive issues, food sensitivities, and stress management. Providing a non-judgemental, calm and safe space for patients to discuss their illness and the barriers it creates, we find the causes of the condition, and suggest effective, natural and holistic protocols.

The clinic provides long appointments, which gives clients the opportunity to provide all the information they think is relevant to their condition, as well as giving us the opportunity to ask the right questions.
