Now that the rolling chas­sis is com­plete, with the en­gine and gear­boxes fit­ted, new brake and fuel lines in place, and the sus­pen­sion all cor­rectly built up, we move on to build­ing up the body work. We have an 88-inch hy­brid body in the air on the ramp; the chal­lenge is to get this down onto the new 110 rolling chas­sis and swap the rear body tub for the much longer 110 item. This is def­i­nitely a job that will be eas­ier with more than one pair of hands avail­able.

Fi­nally, the com­pleted rolling chas­sis is rolled un­der the raised body shell. But be­fore the body is low­ered, there is work to be done on its un­der­side. 34
