I’VE carried this portable jet washer around in my Land Rovers for several weeks now and it’s amazing just how many uses you find for it when it’s always in handy reach.
This kit is genuinely portable because it’s selfcontained in its own shoulder bag, it doesn’t need an outside power source, and its water tank can even be filled up from a stream or pond.
With this kind of portablity, plus light weight and robustness, you could personally carry it anywhere from around town to mountain walks and even camping trips, and then load it up with water as required. The trade off for Land Rover drivers is that it doesn’t have the power or capacity to scour mud from the undersides of a truck that’s been offroading all day. But it will blast fresh mud from tyres before joining the highway after green laning (a legal requirement), and that alone is reason to stow one in the back. It’s actually fun to own and use.
It has a soft tough case, and it’s stable when filled with water, so it won’t be rolling around inside the vehicle, and the long non-kink hose and nozzle gun fits neatly into a secure pouch on the carry bag.
Jetwet is powered by an integral 12 volt re-chargeable battery or from a vehicle power socket. On a single charge the battery will run for thirty minutes and, importantly, it retains its charge when out of use for long periods, meaning it’s always ready to go. The water bag holds five minutes supply when used at full pressure, and it takes only seconds to disconnect the quick-release pipe connection and lift it out for refilling.
