Transported across oceans

At breakfast time here in Queensland, Australia, it is overcast and drizzly. The air is still oppressive and humid so I have the ceiling fan on. The back door is open and all is quiet except for the occasional hum of the cicadas. I am completely immersed in reading Land Scape and for a while I am transported to far-away Great Britain.
