Roast asparagus and garlic
Preheat the oven to 180°C/gas mark 4. Trim the asparagus and cut the garlic bulbs in half, widthways. Place both in a roasting tin and mix in the chives. Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the oil. Drizzle the mixture over the asparagus. Season with salt and sprinkle over the peppercorns. Roast for 25 mins. Serve, garnished with the chives.
