Scents of spring

Now is the time that the home is filled with scent and colour from spring-flowering plants. Densely packed flower spikes of hyacinth impart a sweet, lingering smell. Partnered with white allium, a spray of yellow hyacinth blooms wrapped with a pair of leaves and secured with twine makes an attractive place setting. A ribbon with each person’s name written upon it completes the arrangement.
