In celebration of bees

Designed and made in England, this fine bone china mug bears a hand-drawn picture of a buff-tailed bumblebee. Information about the species features on the opposite side. It is part of ecologist Lizzie Barker’s Creature Candy range of homewares, with illustrations by Jo Medlicott. They are created to raise awareness of Britain’s declining and protected wildlife species. The Bumblebee Conservation Trust receives 10 per cent of the sale price from each mug. Produced in Stoke-on-Trent, they are dishwasher and microwave safe.
