RIDING ALONG
This recycled wool picnic rug has calfskin leather carrying and saddle straps to allow it to be clipped to the back of a Brooks bicycle saddle. It can also be fastened to the handlebars. One hundred per cent pure wool, it is made at a Welsh mill using the leftover material from blankets. No two rugs are identical. The straps are made in the Lake District. It is all put together in BEG Bicycles’ Cambridgeshire studio. The rug measures 150 x 120cm.
